I hadn't used this razor for a while because I've been leaning towards milder razors.
Also
, the length of the handle (95 mm) prevents me from storing it on the carousel that keeps track of my razor rotation (literally and figuratively), so it's "out of sight - out of mind" most of the time. It was the first non-vintage razor I'd ever bought.
Open comb on one side, solid guard bar on the other. Seems like a perfect solution.
The top is polished but the underside shows the pebble texture from the MIM (Metal Injection Molding) process.
The handle is the grippiest I've ever seen.
Both edges feel about the same, somewhere between the 7, 8 or 9 setting on a Gillette Slim.
I had to use some styptic pencil on two small weepers, but I ended up with a BBS for my troubles.
I figured that tonight it would be wise to use an alcohol-free balm, so I reached for the Proraso Blue.
We could be Heroes, just for one day.
