Karve Overlander :: Astra SP (3) :: Sorrentino Brushworks 'Fire Agate' w/ 26mm APSC G5C :: MacDuff's Birch + Root :: Stirling Glacial Post Shave Balm
What an awesome shave. This soap is amazing, both in scent and performance. I don't know what version it is, but I can't imagine they'd need to change anything about it.
I have 2 brushes with G5C knots, and two more knots enroute. Only one has a home, but a backup is always good. Between the G5C and the 2BED, I am 'as happy as a pig in slop'.
The Overlander continues to impress me, months after acquiring it. It's pretty much the only razor I use. Anyone who's tried one likely can understand why.
Finally, the brush was a special design by Eric. I wanted something in the general shape of the iconic Stirling brush and he delivered. It is super comfortable to hold and looks stunning, imo.
Throughout the shave I enjoyed the Dirty Blues soundtrack Dave in KY posted yesterday. Awesome background music Dave. Thank you for sharing!
Have a great day DFS!

Birthdate in 1840 of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky
Rooney Polo 2 Ivory Finest (28/60)
Ethos Grooming Honeysuckle shaving soap
Wolfman WR2-SB/UFO Titan Fine
Personna 74 Tungsten (8)
Ginger's Garden Colonia aftershave
I enjoyed a sweet floral shave on this rainy morning. My wife has a terrible cold, so I'll probably be sick and unable to smell my shaving software soon. The brush is quite a lather hog, but it still is one of my favorites. And the classical music station is having one of their fund drives. The Brahms and Wagner I heard during my shave - not Tchaikovsky, but still excellent - made me glad that I am a supporting subscriber of the station. The music is a very important part of my shave each day.
