First shave with my new Karve CB.

B-plate (installed); additional C and D-plates, separately ordered, but shipped as a complete kit (smart Chis; looking for one package, instead of two).

Completely agree with you gentlemen here; the craftsmanship and machining of this instrument is superb!

The razor is made with the kind of precision one might expect to see in medical/laboratory instruments, or even spacecraft (seriously).

I really dig the finish, and will enjoy it as it is (even though the polishing I’ve seen some of the cats here have done to theirs, looks terrific!).

The shave was wonderful and exceptionally smooth. Quite impressed with the feel, and it got rid of my day-old stubble with the usual 3 passes, and buffing.

Seems like a razor you can buff with...without too much risk of irritation. Time will tell, as it’s cool to buff when you want the shave to continue awhile longer

Used a new Gillette Yellow (current favorite) to be consistent with my other tools.

Also, TOBS Peppermint was the soap o’ the day (love this stuff), finishing with Thayer’s, Captain’s Cat-O-Nine Tails AS, and Cremo moisturizer.

Definitely BBS, and definitely...
