Williams Wednesday!

 
The injector came in yesterday, my last purchase of 2022. It is a Type E, with the movable spring. Looks fantastic, great shave, and I am happy with the razor. You can see the discoloration on parts of the head. The seller wondered if it was somehow due to how the razor had been stored, in some grimy case, that caused this. The discoloration is smooth to the touch and silver in color, as opposed to the gold look of the rest of the head. None the less, it did a great job for me this morning.

I have always enjoyed Fine Accoutrements soaps and splashes but have not tried anything since the soap reformulation. I still have a number of soaps from their previous base so didn't have a need to buy more.

I received a gift this week in the form of their new Bay Rum soap so was eager to give it a run. One, because I absolutely love Bay Rum and two, because I love trying something new! The scent is a no frills traditional Bay Rum that is perfect off the puck and stayed with me through the shave. Not heavy on any of the notes and well blended. It was easy to lather and performance was what I have come to expect with Fine products. Great slickness, cushion, and glide that left my skin feeling nice afterwards. No irritation or drying. If you have yet to give them a try or enjoy a good Bay Rum then check it out. Definitely has me wanting to give a go at some of the others I have also yet to try.

I do not have the matching splash but plan to remedy that pretty soon. I finished off the shave with my own little Bay Rum blend that I feel complimented it quite nicely.

That Ti WR2 with the Darwin handle is stunning and love seeing the 1.65 gap. Great looking brush too. Is the Ti WR2 a gold or antique finish, also what brush is that?
