Excellent SE Shave
After a conversation with a friend, I decided to try and tame the beast again. Even though I use my Futur wide open, I've felt the Gem MicroMatic Open Comb was too harsh and unforgiving. Today I got a very close shave, admittedly with two small weepers, but comfortable nonetheless. I did two passes on my neck, where I expected burn but got none, and three passes on my cheeks for a very smooth finish, perhaps equal to the closeness of the Futur.
Dr. Jon's Defiance is superb soap with easy slick lather and a pleasant peppery mandarin and sandalwood scent. The aftershave is very soothing and carries the scent nicely.
