Today, I used two razors because I wanted to compare my standard razor, the H&S N075 to the Atelier Durdan No. 7 that I have been using as part of the pass-around. I have been enjoying the No. 7 and today I compared it by using the 0.7 base against the H&S since the 0.7 base is a mild shaving base that had seemed comparable. The No. 7 performed well but not quite as well as the H&S. Perhaps this is because I'm so accustomed to the H&S but I found it to more easily get the troublesome hairs in the hardest spots on my face best, including the neck and chin. Tomorrow I'll probably do my last shaves with the No. 7 -- this time with the 1.1 base -- and then send it on.
