Old Cahaba shave of the day!
I gave Cahaba Breeze its maiden voyage this morning. This was also my first experience with Lakewood soaps. The scent is a definite winner, suitable for the beach as well as a time along the river. To my nose the sunflower is dominant followed by the berries in the moss in the tonka bean. It's a very pleasant and fresh scent that was enjoyed by both my wife and visiting mother in law.
Performance wise the soap is on point! Being my first time using Lakewood I loaded the brush heavy as I do with all new to me soaps and was definitely not needed. The lather was thick and rich and provided excellent protection! There was a nice amount of slickness and glide that could be felt as I passed the razor over my face. I had way more than enough lather for my 3 pass shave and felt guilty on what went down the drain as I wrinsed my brush.
Post shave was excellent! My face felt moisturized and BBS. Though not shown, I followed up with a splash of RazoRock One X that complimented it nicely! Thank you Lee and Linda for an excellent soap! ?
