Gillette Guard for the win! That was my better shaver when I was head shaving. Nice razor collection and stands/cases.

I was waiting for someone to comment on the Guard.  It's the perfect head shaver and holds its own amongst the others in my collection.

I've got a drawer-full of Guards, but have only used one. I'm a buffer, even with my most efficient and aggressive razors, but I simply could not achieve a close shave with the Gillette Guard, even spending many minutes trying to do so. We're all different.

Yeah I agree, the Guard is not a great face shaver for me at all as I can't seem to get a close shave out of it without a lot of irritation. As a head shaver though, the Guard works very well for me.
