Blade4vor and CCity, check out RazoRock’s “The Best Deodorant on Earth!” sometime. It's a bit of a hassle to mix & apply, but I've found the performance to be exceptional. (Also, I’ve read good things about Mystic Water Soap’s deodorant, but haven’t tried it.)

Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

I do find myself seeking out some more natural deodorants lately.  I'm kind of done with the mainstream antiperspirants.  I was reading how they work and figure I have enough problems without adding chemicals like that.  Just my thoughts.

I was like that for a while but literally every single one I tried - and I tried a good 6-7 of them - gave me rashes. I think it was the baking soda in them. I got tired of wasting my money on stuff I had to throw away so I went back to the antiperspirants since I sweat a lot.

with the new laser technology for armpit sweating, I've considered going that route and then trying natural deodorants again.

I had the same problem until I tried Sudsy Soapery. Last time I went in for my annual physical, my doctor asked what the hel* I'd done to my underarms. I explained that I was experimenting with natural deodorants. He told me to quit what I was using (Milk + Honey), and prescribed some stuff I never used. I simply quit using Milk + Honey, which I enjoyed quite a bit, even though it created two huge red patches.

Remember, deodorants aren't intended to reduce sweating, which (from what I've read) is a healthy way to discharge toxins and other stuff that should exit your body. The deodorant just eliminates the odor.

I used the Sudsy again today, as I have for a couple of months, and was pleased with the results. It was the hottest day of the year so far in Seattle (90 degrees!), and the deodorant performed admirably.

I hear you, but when you have hyperhidrosis, like myself, you need to control the sweating in some fashion.

I know a couple of people who just use some powder, although forgot the name of it, but its supposed to be natural for you and does the job of absorption.

I probably live in the worst environment for body odors: the Gulf Coast. Hotter than the hubs of Hell and humidity 90%+ damn near every day it seems. I used a natural crystal deodorant here for awhile, but it petered out about halfway through the day. I now use different deo/anti-persp. types, but I will give a superb review to the Gillette Clear Gel stuff. I can go two or three days before the 'pits start to smell just a tad and that includes 1 to 2 showers per day.

Secretary Ramsey put his foot into it yesterday . . . in the course of his remarks he said that California “needs water and better society.”  “So does h-ll,” yelled someone in the crowd.
