Some Entry Level Renovation Brushes

I just took delivery this morning of an Erskine two Ever Ready brushes for low-level restoration and re-knotting. $10 seemed like a good price for entry into another rabbit hole

Just for fun, I also scored a Gillette "Old" type and two triangle-holed pre-wars from the same seller. And no cracks in the Gillette handles. Too good to be true?

Nice mail call!!! I have a black Ever-Ready that Freddiep318ti restored for me and I set a nice badger in it, a Shave Forge 22mm High Mountain White. Enjoy the trip into this rabbit hole! 

And those Techs look great! The Old Types and I never got on, but yours sounds like a dandy!

An update:

Used Dremel to clear out the insides.
Added weight to handle with spare nuts. 
Used sandpaper to buff out scratches on exterior.
Manually applied Maas polish.
Seated inexpensive 20 mm badger knots from DS Cosmetics.

I would have used silicone, but unavailable locally, and I was too impatient to order online. I used JB Weld for filler, and as knot holder. A little bit oozed out, but I am OK with that for my first attempt. I will let the epoxy cure for a few days before using.
