Can you compare to other synthetics? I've used quite a few other synthetics, but I don't know anything about this brush. Does it feel similar to any other well known types? Thanks.

Only other synthetic I have is the Stirling Kong which I prefer due to the larger knot. If it wasn't for that I'd keep it. I've also used a Plisson and Purest satin tip and in the end it beat them out. Worked great for both bowl and face lather. Super soft and nice Backbone.
