Today I am offering two custom brushes from Bob Quinn at Elite Razor. These are unique, one-of-a-kind handmade brushes. Each has been very lightly used and is in like new condition, and neither has shed. They are fantastic brushes; I just have a few too many.
First is a Persian Jar with a real jade handle and a 28mm/54mm Manchurian White knot. The Elite Razor site says, "North American Jade, also known as Jadeite, is found in areas from the southwest up to Montana. Jade stone is very hard and was shaped into tools by Neolithic people. The Aztecs, Mayas and other North American peoples of Mexico and Central America carved Jadeite for use as ornaments, amulets and badges of rank." The handle is 60mm tall. The knot has exceptional backbone and very soft, very white tips. The retail cost would be $155. Yours here for $145 shipped CONUS. SOLD
Second is a Polo with a speckled amber handle and a 28mm/54mm knot, also in Manchurian White. As the ER site says, "Amber is fossilized tree resin which has been appreciated for its color since Neolithic times. The classical name for amber, electrum, is associated with a term meaning “beaming Sun.” This amber is roughly 125–135 million years old." The handle is 70mm tall. The knot has great backbone and flowthrough and very soft white tips. Retail cost would be $145. Yours here for $130 shipped CONUS. SOLD
