Very nice! What's your favorite scent of them all? Also, how are Bonsai and Cigar Lounge? I don't see Storytime in there. That one sounds nice too.

My favorite is Fall at the Cabin, Chris said it might be his strongest scent.

Bonsai is a citrus (grapefruit?) scent that caught me off guard but in a good way. That one would be a great spring / summer scent!

I only tried Cigar Lounge once and was not a huge fan. The soap is fine but I have learned that not all tobacco scents are in my wheel house. CG appears to be a front-runner scent of his so don't let my YMMV influence you.

Blackjack, I Can Breathe, Amaratto and Spring Orchard are on the way to my collection.

Storytime and After the Rain (Chris said that one is his new favorite) are next on my hit list along with a few more balms. Some of my buddies at work are mulling over placing an order so I am waiting on them. After trying many balms his took top honors for me. But you know the drill, YMMV.

Just noticed this thread. Glad to see all the love for a great artisan and product ( and fellow Canadian). He has been a great guy to deal with from a vendor standpoint too. My favourite might just be his Crisp Bay Rum and the Tropical Lime. The lime is straight up lime and extremely pleasant. Doesn't come across industrial or artificial.

Yeah his Crisp Bay Rum is my favorite Bay Rum. I am thinking about getting the matching balm as well.

I'd say that's a wise move Wink

I talked to Chris and he says PAA is still a vendor and will be placing another order in the near future.  Here is a list of US vendors:

Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements - Shave Soap Only

Tiki Bar Soap - Shave Soap,  Aftershave Balm and Shampoo Bars

Merz Brother - Shave Soap Only

Luxury Barber - Shave Soap, Bar Soap and Lotion Bars

Shave Revolution - Shave Soap Only

Razor Blades and More - Shave Soap Only

West Coast Shaving - Shave Soap Only

I apologize for forgetting his Canadian retailer, Canadian Blade Company. My apologies for being US centric.

The prices are much lower directly from Soapy Bathman in Canada. Have you or anyone else ordered direct, and if so, how much is shipping to the US?

I have ordered directly from him in the past. Some of my buddies and I are placing an order this week. I will let you know the shipping amount when we place the order.

Thanks. I suppose I could also just add one to the cart and go to checkout.

I have the Amaretto on the Rocks, and like it a lot. Outstanding scent, excellent performance, nice post-shave feel.

It is not my favorite soap, but it is high on the list. I will be looking to buy some more in the future...
