I'm not sure what shipping costs down to the States from Canada, but if you buy directly from SB then you're paying Canadian. Considering 1USD = 1.44CAD right now, you'd probably get a pretty good deal. I've had a SB soap and while the post-shave is very good, I wasn't really wowed with the actual lather itself. No real problems with it, it just didn't blow me out of the water.

I've had Soapy Bathman in mind for several months but I haven't gotten around to trying any of their soaps yet. Perhaps a bit later because I was told that they're very good.

With the conversion rate for SB direct from their website it's $14.31 for the 8oz shave soap and $6.44 for the 4oz. I added a 8oz to my cart to check shipping to the US and it's $7.00 which isn't bad from Canada.

The only time I want to smell a banana is if I'm eating one, but that's just me. I don't know about any banana shaving soaps but anytime I've smelled artificial banana scent, it reminds me of those nasty orange circus peanut candies. Yuck!

Soapy bathman was suppose to be natural smelling. Chiseled face's smelled like lady taffy banana I grew up snaking on as a kid. I going miss it when it's gone. I'm not into all thos tobacco scents which seem to be popular currently.

Hey, ya like what ya like. I happen to dig tobacco scents. Scent is the the most subjective thing in wetshaving and as always, YMMV.

Just like I'm not much of a coffee drinker but I love the smell, especially on a shaving soap.

I am glad I found this thread.  I may, or may not have a thing for SB....
