My PAA 1k, however the performance is good. I'm just not a fan of the scent.

I liked the performance, I bought a new soap from them to try.

I will gladly take SV off your hands! Cool

Tried Arko recently... while it performs OK, I could not stand its smell to the point that I had to change it to SIM mid shave.

This is the only soap that I bought and eventually went to the trash can.

Also one Italian Barber soap (Aquatico I think). But for the price, I didn't expect it to be that good anyway.

I did not hate Soap Commander renewal, but I didn't find the soap to be very good, just decent and the scent wasn't for me.

What did you dislike about the Aquatico? The Italian Barber line was so affordable I was thinking about ordering a few this year but figured, they're cheap you know? Not even good enough to be $3.99? If so, thats pretty terrible.
The razorock and Italian barber soaps perform wonderfully! Very slick and easy to lather. XXX and Amici (which is now 2.99) are awesome

RazoRock soaps do perform well above their price point. Whether of not you like them is one thing, but you can't argue with the performance to cost ratio.

Well I wouldn't say I hate these soaps but they definitely were disappointments

B&M 42 - bought the Shop & AFTER Shave, performance is great but the scent makes me want to was my face again and again until I can't even remember the smell.

LPL - Rose du Pushkar - someone else commented on this scent earlier and I agree with it being horrible. I get no Rose scent whatsoever, smells like old lady perfume to me.

Dapper Dragon Obi - smells like an ashtray and just so so performance

I absolutely love Barrister and Mann’s “42”. Goes to show just how individual these scent matters are…

Tried to think of a soap that would have been subpar in one way or another, but I simply could not. I guess I’ve been lucky in that sense.

Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

I was going to like this post because I'm in total agreement on the LPL, but totally disagree about Obi Hill! I love that soap! YMMV indeed...

I am on the same wagon re: SV Brian. Decent soap but not great and doesn't get a ton of use in my house.

My most disappointing soap this past year was The Holy Black bay, whiskey, lime. Great scent but one of the absolute few soaps I couldn't coax a lather from. I actually binned it after three uses.

Flash forward to the updated formula and, having picked up some somewhat reluctantly based on a trusted friend, they have a very nice soap. Easy to lather, good post have. Nice example of adjusting to meet customer expectations albeit after the fact.
