They did stop for awhile when their oldest child was in a severe car accident and nearly died. Recently they have started production up again but it may be awhile before stock increases at their retailers.

I can't help you with the Soap Commander line. I've tried most of their soaps, as I received a BUNCH of samples from someone here, and honestly, they don't do much for me. The scents are rather weak, and the performance is average. It works, and it does the job, but it does not overwhelm me with outstanding performance, so I haven't bothered with it very much.

As for your fruity and citrusy scents, I have a recommendation...Razorock Classic is a great fruity scent with fantastic performance and Italian Barber Amici has a fantastic grapefruit scent with equally great performance. Dollar for dollar, these soaps shine in all performance categories FOR ME...

Please bear in mind this is just a personal opinion. No intention of offending anyone, just providing my unbiased and inexperienced opinion...

WHAT?! You don't like Soap Commander? What the hell is wrong with you?! Tongue

On a more serious note, what kind of fruit scent are you looking for, OP? If you like citrus, just about every soap maker out there has an offering in that category.

Other fruit ones I can think of would be these:

Apple- Barrister and Mann DFS Limited Edition (would be hard to get your hands on this one)
Froot Loops cereal - Catie's Bubbles Saturday Morning
Grape soda - Catie's Bubbles Knee High to a Grape
Cherry - Soap Smooth Ceret or Stirling Black Cherry
Raspberry lemonade - Mystic Water Raspberry Lemon
Banana - Chiseled Face or Soapy Bathman make banana scented soaps
Peach - Mickey Lee La Belle du Sud (this one is outstanding, IMO) or Tim's Greek Peach (another hard to find as its not made anymore)

Those are just a few I can think of off the top of my head. Happy hunting!

Soap Commander makes good balms.

If you are looking for fruits - also

Route 66 Sweeney Todd is Orange Juice

Route 66 Lumberjack is Apple Juice

Both of these smell, spot on, to Orange and Apple juices. And Sweeny Todd is just a cool name for a soap.

I buy van Der hagen unscented soap melt it and add some lemon, lime, orange and bergamot essential oils and bingo a great custom citrus soap anyway you like it. I also make an old spice soap with the cologne. Wonderful
