Hey gents,

Curious on what your view is regarding soap storage when not in use. I've heard the best way is to keep in a cool, dark place.
I keep my soaps in my bathroom drawer as it isn't exposed to light and should be relatively protected from the steam when I take a shower.

Not sure if this is the best way to maintain the longevity of my soaps (and most of us here likely have multiple soaps haha) but wondering if you guys
store yours somewhere else. I'm trying to find the best way to make my soaps last long.

I keep the vast majority under the bathroom sink in a cabinet. A subset I have a "shaving tray" that my wife picked up somewhere and in that there are a handful of current rotation soaps and some other sundry shaving things.

Never had a problem with storage.

PS some soaps that are either refills or shipped stand alone I will put in a ziploc sandwich bag if I am not going to use them for a while and don't have a tub for storage.

I keep my soaps in a drawer in my bedroom dresser, avoiding bathroom storage just because I assume that it is more humid due to family showers.

I have some in my bathroom and some in the linen closet in the hall. I see no difference in my soaps between the two storage areas.

Same as me. Most are in a Rubbermaid under the sink with my refill Haslinger pucks foodsavered in same scents.

All evidence has been buried, all tapes have been erased.

I installed a white floating shelf on a wall in my master bathroom to keep my regular rotation of 10 soaps on. The ones I don't use much or at all are a cabinet below my sink.

I keep my pucks in a large plastic bin in the bedroom closet and then take them out once my shave-sticks need refilling. Shy

I have mine on two larger shelfs in the TV room.
Do not want to store creams in humid places like the bathroom
