So I've got a few new soaps over last two months.
Soap commander inspiration
Tobs almond
Stirling Cocoa forest
Stirling black cherry

I have 15 other soaps too(more then I thought I had shhh)

Iced noticed some soaps have much stronger scents and I love that. Others have a lighter scent.
Soap commander is light which is a bummer because I do so love the scent.

Stilling is strong which is awesome. I hope it'll be like chiseled face which just makes the whole room smell. Though stirling isn't as strong as chiseled face its right up there.

Others are not as strong and some that smell good out of the container I can't even smell when shaving. Still enjoy the experience just less so.

So which do you all prefer? Stronger or lighter ?

And what's some other really strong scented soaps.

My other soaps are:cella, razorock, wsp, caties, dr jons,Arko, and phonenix.

I prefer medium to strong soaps, in my opinion if you by scented soaps you want to be able to smell them.

I find most US artisan soaps are quite strong. However I do find the Barrister and Mann Latha line a little weak.

Maggards are strong.

I lean towards strong as well, otherwise what's the point in getting different scents, might as well use the (generally cheaper) unscented versions instead.

But with that said, I can see an argument for weaker scents if you or someone you live with are sensitive to the fragrances though, I recall a thread on that recently here.

I prefer stronger scents and I feel the same way about soap commander, love the scents but too weak. B&M are perfect strength for me.

How do you like Stirling Cocoa Forrest?

I love strong scents. That is why I want a scent in my soap...to smell it when I lather...

Hobbyist - The Stirling Cocoa Forest is wonderful. Stirling's performance, and for me smells like I have some cocoa on the porch of a pine log cabin in the forest. Nice and strong. Lucky for me I got two sets before starting a purchase sabbatical. He is discontinuing the scent. On sale now for 25% off.

I would say I am a medium to strong. Very dependent on the scent if I want it strong or not though.

Indeed soap commanders scent vanishes after minute or two of being opened for me.

Cocoa Forrest is interesting. I can't quite place it. I thought it'd be more like chocolate bar scent. I'm guessing it's more cocoa plant scent mixed with some wood. Perhaps pine like mom or said. I've never actually smelled cocoa in its raw from the plant form so i don't know for sure.

This is my last purchase til April, and My banana soap is Being discontinued, mean it'll probably take me years to go through e 4oz tub but then it's gone Sad. If anyone likes banana go get it now it's $8 on chiseled face's site super strong wonderful scent

Sid note shaver heaven is on sale everywhere, does anyone know why? I hope their not discontinuing the whole line. I really wanted some asuie soap in my mix.

I like to be able to smell the soap - I don't want to be overpowered but if a soap calls itself Bay Rum it had damn well better smell like bay rum or it won't stay in the rotation unless its an unusually good performer otherwise. I've got a few soaps where I think the maker's soaps are all the same and then the maker just randomly assigns fragrance names to them. Seriously, you find yourself sniffing searching for some hint of what its supposed to smell like. This is why I like B&M so much, it smells like what Will says its supposed to smell like and its complex and unique and a really terrific performer. I'm not sure I need to bother chasing other rainbows when I already have the pot of gold. Some soaps just have their soap smell like MWF and thats fine too.

Thanks. The sale is why I was considering it. I love Stirling, just have to find a scent with them because performance is as good as it gets as far as I'm concerned, along with B&M of course.

I don't know why Shaver Heaven is on sale everywhere but that's usually a bad sign. I haven't tried then yet but plan to. You can buy them direct and take advantage of the exchange rate since they are priced in Australian currency.
