Lol, I wish I could take credit as that was humorous but that was actually stroppinglad discussing xPec.

There are certain scented soaps that my wife, who is my resident scent consultant chooses to describe using both an age and gender qualifier.

Usually along the lines of: "You smell like an Old Man" to which I respond "Good, I am".

or: "You smell like an Old Lady" to which I say "I know you are but what am I?"

Actually, the second is obviously complete fiction as I would no longer be able to type this response during recovery and physical rehabilitation.

Yeah I wasn't sure if you'd said one or both or just been in the thread, I'm having memory issues apparently.

I'm glad you understand the role of the consultant in your household, just be careful you don't ever actually verbalize those thoughts, I couldn't imagine shaving with both arms in casts!! KiddingSmile I know my wife would never actually hit me - thats what contractors are for!

Rose was one of the original scents from waaaay back in the day, especially among royalty and the well-to-do.  It's not nearly as prevalent in today's shaving soaps, which is a shame.  A good quality rose scent is really quite nice and relaxing.  One of my favorites, and one that is unfortunately no longer made* is Klar Kabinett.  In fact, when it was spread around that it was being discontinued, while I was in Germany I picked up a 500g brick (of two 250g bars) - and even went back and cleaned out the shop of the last remaining.  I literally have 1kg of this stuff.  Big Grin

* Supposedly it's still made as Dusy Kabinett but I cannot confirm that and haven't tried it.
