Hello all!  I have used this soap three times and would like to share my experience.

LOADING:  it loaded quite easily in about 30 seconds with each of the three different brushes I used.

LATHER: the lather came quite readily and in sufficient volume for my normal 2 pass with touch ups shave. I found it benefited from a few extra drops of water, but I would not call it thirsty. Here is a pic after face lathering.

The lather was slick and cushiony and provide sufficient protection.

SCENT:  I get more of a cedar note out of the jar, but it changes a bit with lathering and becomes more sandalwood.  It is pleasant and masculine.

Overall, a very good product that I would use again.

Ah Yes the balm. I found the scent, while labeled sandalwood like the soap, to be different from the soap. Out of the tub it was sweet like vanilla or something from a bakery. It dried to a sandalwood though. I enjoyed the scent and found it quite pleasant

It left my face soft an with a feeling of being nourished.

I thought it a bit to thick foe my taste though. I much prefer splashes, but would use this or something like it during the dryer winter months.
