Well, this time the Hawk was okay. I was careful to apply less pressure than usual.
Now that I'm sporting a pencil moustache, it's pretty good for lining the top edge.

Saved my favorite scent for the Saturday morning shave. 14th use on the vintage Personna 74 blade. Feeling a little inefficient, but I hate to move on to a fresh one when I only have so many unobtainium 74s.

Razor: Repeating Injector Type "C"
Blade: Schick
Brush: Trotter "Lake of Fire"/Timberwolf
Soap: GD Mallard Coconut Rum
AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
AS 2: Rooster's Nest Bourbon Bay Rum
Fragrance: Ferrari Scuderia Black
Consecutive Daily Shaves - # 1,398

I find the Type A the coolest and the Type C the sleekest head that gives me the best shave out of the 3 Repeater's. All require the head held differently than most razors against the face and hand position.

And for the Eeewww shot of lather removed.......you were warned. Have a great day !

Scentsless Shaver
Oakland, ME
After some irritation these last few days, I decided to focus on a gentler yet close shaves, and I chose the Schick Type M adjustable set on 5 for most of the shave. I dialed down for the ATG to 4. Not really sure how many shaves are on the sChick blade. But it was exactly what I needed today!
Mystic Water Sensitive Skin and the Star/Kambro G5A completed the lineup.

Brush ... Omega Boar (20102)
Soap .... Toscana Factory Lab Beatrice
Razor ... Schick Type L
Post .... Dickinson's Original Witch Hazel Toner
Post .... Epsilon Scottish Spirit AS
Finish .. Calvin Klein Euphoria Pure Gold for Men EDP

I took a page from my own version of Brother Eric's (aka MaineYooper' s) playbook, and decided to focus on a gentler shave after last night's difficult experience.  For me, a Schick Type L with a made-in-China blade may be the epitome of smooth, yet amply efficient, and even BBS capable shaving.  Not that today's shave was a BBS.  Today was a pleasant, skin friendly DFS shave.

We take what we can get.

PS  I posted about Beatrice in the "soap-of-the-day" thread here.  Really fine stuff IMO.
