It has nothing to do with actually killing a horse. It's beating a horse that's already dead. That's the whole point of the expression. It's pretty self-explanatory.

Gentlemen, this thread has been derailed. Either we get it back on track or let's leave it be.

Freddy, perhaps it would be best to close threads when they start to degenerate into pissing and moaning, however justified. There seems to be a lot of that in the General Shaving Talk sub-forum. Perhaps closing them down as soon as they turn into mere venting would curb the trend. We all know which other forums and retailers suck and why. There is no reason to repeat it 990 times. People can go outside and vent.

Anyways, to give a succinct answer to the OP... Should it matter? Yes, honesty and integrity always matter.

My guess is that the razor is WCS SS, designed by Brian from Charcoal Goods. I bought it and too me it is almost exactly as The Clean Shaver said in his review. A very well built and fine razor, but a tad mild.

That's akin to censorship and I thought the whole point of this Forum was to allow free discourse...? Don't assume I support libelous statements, please.

we definitely allow a lot more discussion than most websites out there. at some point though, controversial threads start circling around and they start getting heated. wolfman threads are a perfect example of this..

There is a fine line that is often gray between wise moderation and outright censorship. Often people forget that our World does not function on civility and never will.
