Shaving terms I don't like

“Shave den”…….it’s your damn bathroom!

No women allowed = Shave den

I've posted several times here, and I think I need to balance the books a little by putting up something positive for a change. And it doesn't have anything to do directly with shaving, but it's just a word I really like: haberdashery.

The word haberdasher appears in Chaucer's Canterbury Tales, and apparently it is derived from the Anglo-French word hapertas meaning "small ware." A haberdasher retailed small wares, the goods of the pedlar. Saint Louis IX, King of France 1226–70, is the patron saint of French haberdashers. In Continental Europe, Saint Nicholas is their patron saint, while the Worshipful Company of Haberdashers in the City of London have Saint Catherine.

You are correct Sir, you have to throw some Benjamins at decent clothing….

My bathroom is the room I shave in. 
My shave den is where I work, study, and keep my collection. 

I know this is an old thread, and I didn't want to go through 26 pages of replies to see if anyone else had posted them, but the terms that drive me crazy are the short-hand name for Declaration Grooming brushes.  "Washo" and "Jeffo" for Washington and Jefferson.  Drives me a little crazy for whatever reason.

Can’t find a teddie in my size.  Found a great source for camisoles though…..
