Shaving terms I don't like

Suds is still by far the worst.

OK, not exactly a shaving term, but it really irritates me when a shaving forum (not this one) mangles the language by affixing the wrong suffix to a date, e.g. the 10rd or the 5rd or the 3th. Come on, how hard would it be to just drop the suffixes altogether, so that the SOTD thread for this week would be "SOTD 10-16 April"??

I like the term BBS. To me there is no other way to describe that type of shave. CCS (close, comfortable shave), to me, just means you received a decent shave. As for those starting out, it's up to them to figure out what they want, whether it be a BBS, DFS, or CCS. Honestly, I feel only BBS has any substantial meaning since it's fairly well defined. The others are up to interpretation by the shaver.

And to play off of your comments on DFS and CCS, I came across an acronym I use more. It is RCS, for Real Comfortable Shave. That has been my goal for a couple of years now. And lately, it seems to get to the BBS more often than not. But Comfortable, close, and irritation-free is the daily goal.

"Hand tied" in reference to brushes. It's not a term of quality as most brushes are hand tied. For that you have to look at the person behind production.

Although not shaving related, I hate the term "hand crafted" when describing sandwiches and burgers. What other kind is there?

When did a shaving soap become rare? It was discontinued and/or no longer made.  That 30 year old soap is not rare, and now it’s unscented

Rare is a .90 carat, Fancy Red Princess Shape Diamond, SI2 clarity, graded by GIA.  If it were available by Leibish, the cost would probably be 1.5-1.7 million easy.  Maybe 2-3 are found per year....maybe.  Those Argyle Diamond mines in Australia are on point with reds.
