Shaving terms I don't like

I hate 'Unobtainium' even more today. Read my lips: when a product is readily available at other web sites - or even if it has been discontinued but is still offered occasionally on eBay or on the BST forums - it is NOT unobtainable.

I hate the term hard / tough / coarse beard.
With sensitive skin, those're the magic words to avoid studying technique.

May I get a special dispensation? I didn't use the term to describe my beard but the barber in India that was shaving me used it to describe my beard.

I don't have any terms that annoy me. For me, that takes way too much thought. I come here to learn some things and have fun. However folks choose to express themselves is fine with me. Everyone on this forum that I have encountered is polite and that is what matters to me.

"Hand tied" in reference to brushes. It's not a term of quality as most brushes are hand tied. For that you have to look at the person behind production.

I'm STILL upset with "I had to do a minor amount of BUFFING!"

Learn better technique and you won't have to "buff".

A euphemism for incorrect or poor shaving skills.
