[Image: GSVc6Ze.jpeg]After doing 1 cheek I waved the white flag. Setting 6 was too much for me! Check the gap!

So down to setting 5 and another superb shave. Great lather from the PAA Scentsless soap along with the SOC Taj boar.

Set to 4.5 this morning and had a very nice shave!

My thanks to Ken for letting me try out his new razor. I think I could make it work for me if I stayed below 5 most days. It is an amazing razor, with all the attention to detail you expect from Blackland.

Ken, I am very grateful for your generosity in sharing the Osprey with me when it is so new to you. And thank you for the surprise gifts. I promised to model them here, and I have scheduled a photo shoot for this week. Anyone reading this, you have been warned! You cannot unsee it once you have seen it, ha ha!

The brush was included as a free extra on the BST when I purchased a member's Lambda Athena and it is really growing on me. While smaller than the Owners Club handles, I believe that it (Torga C5) has a 24mm knot, like the SOC boars. It is a great feeling little brush!

Wonderful shave today. But what I noted was that the MWS may not, I repeat, may not be the GOAT for me. This stuns me as for 9 years I've touted it as my gold standard. But lately, I am finding it good, even great, but not as creamy or luxurious as others. I think 2025 will see me digging into the soaps I have to determine which is truly on top.

Last week the Tatara Amanuki arrived, about 2 days after the Osprey from Ken. I snuck in a shave, then returned to using the Osprey. No doubt that I could make the Osprey work for me. It has form and function, true artistry in motion! After 5 shaves, I can confidently state that I don't need one. (See that, that's wiggle room!) And now I can spend the next few days working with the Amakuni.

Not artistry on the Tatara but not near as ugly as the picture they had put up. Looking forward to your thoughts on it.

It’s not artsy Dave. But it has magnets. So it goes up a. Few notches in my book.
