Continuing on from last week's kit, I decided to keep going with the Slim.
Today was the 7th use of the blade and I got two red spots even on setting 5, so I am binning the blade and moving on to something else for the remainder of the week. Hopefully I'll get an updated photo of the remaining Beeswax soap. It should be done before October is, and I can move on to another. Here is the link to what I am trying to do.
Monday and Tuesday, I shaved at setting 7, which is higher than I typically go, and it was fine. More evidence that with technique comes the ability to get better shaves than when I tried this years ago.

Good job on the determination to finish some soaps. Well done !

This is the second "reformation" of the soap. It is very well hydrated and kind of difficult to make it stay in place!
I can still see some of that creamy lather from this morning! Funny story, I had misplaced this soap some time back, and thought I'd PIF'd it. I remember thinking that I didn't like it as much as Sheep. But when it unexpectedly was found under some towels (was it trying to escape?!), I used it and found it makes a wonderfully creamy lather if I hydrate it correctly. Will I replace it? No, not for some time, as I have 14 other soaps, at last count! I would love to pare that number down to at least single digits before I consider buying more soap.
