Thanks, Dave. Pete at Hendrix gifted me some microfiber towels, two of which are for cleaning gear. I have always tried to keep stuff clean, but those towels really do make polished pieces shine! And to give credit where credit is due, Pete123 gifted me those to make up for sending me the wrong Speed Shaver adapter. I mean, I was happy to just exchange it, but Pete wanted to "make it up to me" for not getting the order right. Man, that is awesome customer service!

per keto, the None of Your Beeswax soap (I like that name, Keith!!)
And a wonderful boar, recently reinvigorated by a cleaning, that was gifted to me by the generous mrdoug (Thanks, Paul! Love the history!)

I'm with the guys here, that is a great looking razor. I've always struggled to get good shaves from these vintage razors. Glad it is working well for you. Also happy to see you are enjoying that Boar still. Hopefully, with these cleaning and maintenance it'll give you a lifetime of good lathers.

Have a great day Eric!

This week I complete another circuit around the sun and start the last circuit of my fifth decade. I decided to use razors of roughly the same vintage as myself! They also happen to be adjustable razors, one from Schick and the other a Slim. (The Super Speed photobombed the shoot!!)

The soap is, as Keith keto named it, the None of Your Beeswax. The brushes are 2 new to me ones, matching Semogue Taj handles, with boar and badger knots. The boar had been used only once and like my other SOC boar, is already soft, so I think it will only get better with use. The badger is very nice, and I used it once last week.

Last night I reformed the ring into a puck, and I noted less time needed to load! Imagine that!
