Interesting. Somebody said/sung those same words 4.6 billion years ago. It’s incredible what these new telescopes will discover.

11 shaves to go!

Yup, less than a fortnight from going 365 days without missing a shave! I hope a get a badge or at least a cool sticker!

I have been mixing it up this week, trying out a titanium Blackbird and intermingling the shaves with my Overlander. Man, the Blackbird shaves close, but I seem to do pretty darn good with the Overlander and do it with less fuss. I am finding that while the difference between SS and Ti tamed the Vector for me, it has not quite tamed the Blackbird enough. My face isn't irritated at all, which would happen after 2 passes with the SS 'bird, but I am tensed up while shaving with this version. It feels like I am right on the brink of going too far. Ah well. I will try some more. Regardless of how this goes, I am so grateful to David (DMShaver) not only lending me this beautiful razor, but telling me to take my time with it! (I think it has to be the name, for Dave in KY has also let me "try before I buy" with no time restrictions. Well, one restriction: don't keep it, lol! We have some great folks here, and I am glad I can be a small part of this wonderful shave community.

You have been just as generous with me also Eric with trying razors before I buy. I sometimes miss the Ti Blackbird. Just had trouble having that much tied up in one razor.........but I miss it.......but........but........

Now that would be a smell to keep me eating all day long!! When done shaving one could put a sticky dab of syrup in the corner of the mouth, and maybe some turmeric also, to simulate egg yoke! wouldn't that keep folks guessing?!

Started with the Blackbird for 2 passes, and then finished up with the Hydro-magic. Great start, but on the XTG, I could feel that aggressive feeling again, even as I tried various angles looking to smooth it out. But that is okay, the first pass was mostly in the sweet zone, and when I pulled out my trusty Type I, it stayed there! No irritation, one minor nick on the chin, but all good by the cold-water splash.
