UPS just dropped off a typical brown padded envelope mailer, the kind Amazon and other use. I thought it was that as we do get a fair amount of items from that company. So I wasn't all that careful in using a pair of scissors to cut open the mailer. I saw I'd cut the "invoice" but no big deal. Most likely some health-related item, as I'd ordered a few different ostomy supplies lately.  Then I saw it, the "invoice" was actually lined notebook paper, the kind I had when in high school all those years ago. Most of us had binders, as some teachers hated what they called "frizzies" on the turned in homework!

So I carefully pulled out the sheet and the package:

Well, my jaw just dropped and bounced off the counter top. I cannot tell you how excited I was to see this, and how appreciative I am to Ken for taking the time to make me one! This is a totally unexpected surprise of the most pleasing kind.

So here are more photos of the newest handle. And Ken mentioned it would need a knot, and I happen to have 2 that would work very well, both Maggard Razors, a Black and White and a Timberwolf.

Thanks for all the kind words guys.  Sometimes my imagination thinks of some stuff that I can actually bring to fruition. And Erics' appreciation for my "invention" using the plumbing fittings for a brush.  Inspired me to make one for him to enjoy.  I'm glad you like it Eric. And it will probably go well with the razor you showed me.

Once I get a knot set in it, I'll post some pics of them together. I have enjoyed Steampunk stuff, not enough to get really into it, but enough to see the art in it, and I think the brush works so well with that genre. Many thanks again, my friend!
