Great selection and great work (as usual) Paul!

Thanks guys! I will post some more as I try to only get silicone on the base, and not everywhere else, like my nose or eyes when itchy!

Quick note on this mornings shave. The House of Mammoth Z provided an outstanding lather, best I have had in a while! Great job on this soap mammothben!

And the Sabre did outstanding as well. So easy! Great tool, Blackland Razors!

This shave almost left me with that refreshed feeling I strive for. But it didn't, due to my deciding to change direction without signaling and found out what happens when the razor's edge is pulled parallel instead of perpendicular to the direction of travel. Nice little leak that needed a little help, but overall, a fantastic shave!

[due to its graphic nature (and morning hair) no photos were taken to protect the innocent (the Sabre!)]

Glad you enjoyed the soap! I’m particularly proud of the process that allows Z to be truly unscented, zero scent from the base.

Enjoy your week with Z!

True, no scent, and the slickness is so good, yet rinses off well. Today I added a little more water and the lather was superb. It is definitely leaving some big shoes to fill next week! (and given my mindset of not enduring mediocre shaves, I may circle back to Z to keep the great shaves going!)

Today was my stived for shaving experience, RCS and left my face feeling refreshed! I added a little more water to the brush tips while face lathering and was rewarded with an excellent lather that just about looked the same on the third application as it did on the first.

I am anxious to set a knot, but I need a prep time and to make that cool knot tube that Paul showed us in some post. I really think I ought to collect those posts, maybe even start a thread in the brush section, with all the tips and supplies you all made. Someday!

Hope the evening is well and tomorrow, too!

An amazing week of Sabre shaves, both Levels, and just an enjoyable shaving experience! Very glad to have sprung for this set up as a little (ie, big!) gift to myself! I could be totally happy using the Sabre exclusively. But.................variety! I added so many great shavers to the razor box, and I don't think I would part with any at this time. I am blessed to have discovered single edge shaving, and to get some fantastic examples of each blade type. And like the Sabre, any of these could be happily shaved with exclusively. The group, in no particular order: Vector, Sabre, Schick G, Schick M, and the Parker (now the mildest of all, maybe).

For DE goodness, I have my Karve B and A plates (A could be the mildest of all, but without a mirror on the wall, I cannot tell at all), the Yates 921 M and hybrid plates, a pre-War Tech that needs to make a 2021 appearance yet, and my trusty Slim.

Homefront: the fight continues. Taking longer than wanted to gather pertinent documents. Some providers agree the med is needed yesterday, but take their sweet time providing copies of office notes or writing a letter.

Rant over. Hope the weekend goes well!

I'm sorry you were treated so shabbily Eric. I wonder if, being a pain doctor, he/she has to cover his rump really well. On the upside, at least you have something going on. Still sucks though.

Yes Mike, it is CYA for the doc, and I get it. It just is a yucky feeling, and hopefully I will have more empathy. Opened my eyes for sure.

Sometimes it can be too easy, as jaded as we get, to make judgments with no valid basis other than pain med, must be an addict or user. Opened my eyes for sure.

Precisely why I've just always lived with my pain instead of treating it. Too common in my area and I don't want the label etc.........

And that's just wrong, having to live with it. I don't mean you are wrong, Dave. One size or label definitely does not fit all. Just like shaving, YMMV!!
