Thanks! I will probably shine it up if the patina gets uneven. For me, it's under the cap that gets bad looking, but no one except me sees it.

Today was the second shave with B plate in the Karve razor. Wonderfully smooth and oh so shiny! Seriously, I could see reflected light from the razor making the lather have a gold color!

But, and it's a big butt, I am not sure if it is shaving smoother than either single edge. A great shave, to be sure; I need to check it against the single edges. And this is specifically the Karve razor, regardless of polish or not.

In any event, I have some great razors and should be content! It's determining which is the smoothest, closest, and most comfortable that is what always seems to keep my seeking! Oh the stress of it all!  Tongue
In the bigger picture, it is splitting hairs compared to health and household. But it is fun to compare!

To seek out perfection. Is one of the most "human" goals. The ability to harness that desire in positive ways. Occasionally results in wondrous outcomes.

Time for a home front update. Some travelers who have frequented another forum where I kept a journal my recall our fight with insurance company to get needed treatment for my wife. It took a long time, almost a year, but an independent review sided with my wife. This past Thursday, we received a letter from the insurance company that they are rescinding the coverage of the treatment. So here we go again.

Shaving is a time that I can step away from the problems in life, and enjoy what I used to view as a chore. And when I am done, I face the day as a clean shaven man!

We are hanging in, and getting ready to fight!

Eric
