Just Here for the Shaves

I am finding that I really like how my face feels "inside". It feels smooth to my touch, but somehow feels refreshed, with absolutely no irritation. The whiskers come back sooner, but I am not minding that as much. Thinking about how my face fared after using the B plate, there would sometimes be some very mild irritation that disappeared within minutes after the shave. The C plate might leave some areas, like my neck, feeling sensitive for some time. But I do not recall this refreshed feeling with the B plate. I will have to pay attention when I go back to that plate, most likely this week for work.

So for the first part of the week, I did go back to the B plate. I shaved more attentively, and had no irritation and overall great shave, just like I have always associated with the B plate. Maybe I'd gotten too sloppy or rushed? Maybe bad memory? (where did I put the previgen...  Tongue) The A plate wasn't as efficient, but it sure was comfy. Not knocking my trusty B plate, but to get close to the A refreshed/comfy feel, I really needed to be attentive and less pressure.

After getting a brief tour of coastal Maine for no apparent reason, a package from Dave in KY made it inland to my mailbox.  Inside, a new Parker adjustable injector. (I know, not new new, but I still call my car new when I buy it and it is sold as new, even though some other schmucks test drove it!) (Not that Dave is a schmuck, just saying).
I did one cheek on level 2, then moved the dial to 3 for the rest of the shave. I am very pleased! Smooth, and refreshed, easy to find best angle for me, and nimble where needed, like under the schnozz.  I think 3 may be comparable to the Karve A plate. Time will tell.

Second shave today with the Parker. I got daring a bumped the dial to roughly 3.5. Just a tad of irritation noted, but nothing bad, no blood or weepers. Yesterday's shave seemed to last long enough (I like to have minimal whiskers catching on my face mask at work, and my job is 11 hours long). I looked back at a journal elsewhere where I had noted that a Schick Hydromagic seemed to take off all the soap, leaving very little to none for touch ups. I don't find that to be true for the Parker.

From my experience working security at a Synagogue. Schmuck is one of those words that is chameleon like. The tone, context and inflection are important in determining weather it's meant as a compliment or insult. Knowing Dave the way I do. I can not imagine it being used in the negative context.  If there were more "schmucks" like Dave. The world would be a nicer place to hang out on. Count me as another schmuck that has a Injecta that came from Kentucky.  After writing this. I may stray from my straights, and use my Schick Stick tonight.  Cool

Very nicely said! I had a Jewish friend, and he always used it in a friendly sort of way, never with any negative tone, and often directed at himself. But this does show me, again, what an isolated life experience I've had!

I feel a great disturbance in the Force.

I'm getting some amazing shaves from the Parker injector, shaves that are rivals to the Karve! And I snuck in a Karve shave to compare, and got that irritation again. This worries me, as I have become emotionally invested and attached to the Karve! On top of that, I feel like I am coming down with a case of RAD, involving the Vector.

Seriously, I love the shaves and the easy way it shaves (the Parker). But if I see a Vector in the BST, I don't think I'll be able to keep my wallet closed!
