Ok this is a hard question with so much awesome gear out there but for me it is the very first purchase I made into wet shavedom. It is the Merkur 34c HD oh yes the classic I have many razors but I find my self getting pulled to it like the FOrCE in Star Wars. I raved about it so much that I got my nephew interested in wet shaving after telling him this is how a Real Man Shaves! Good gear+great lather= awesome shave... Stay Smooth

My gear of choice is merkur 34c. There are better razors in my collection, but merkur 34c feels like home. When I need a good comfortable shave, nothing out of ordinary, I grab it and I get a great shave no matter what.

My most prized possession would have to be my Van Der Hagen brush...hear me out on this one before we raise our pitchforks. Being in the Navy as a corpsman I've met quite a few people and one of my friends who I was stationed with introduced me to wet shaving through a cheap VDH starter kit. My collection has grown a good bit (with thankfully much better hardware) since then but that brush reminds me that great hobbies sometimes have humble beginnings

My most priced possession is my custom Markus Herber brush. I god one that looks and preforms amazing. The feeling when you get to take part of the design of your equipment really creates a special bond with the product.

My favorite gear is my dad's vintage Gillette safety razors. He had quite a collection. I gave half to my brother. I was on the fence about wet shaving when I came across an artisan soap maker (Local Gent Shave Company) who was selling a starter wet shaving kit. So when I found out that the artisan soap maker is in my home town, I decided to finally get into wet shaving. And yes, I use my dads safety razors.

My favourite piece of shave gear is a razor I found about a month ago. I was digging through a box of WWII mementoes my grandpa gave me, and I found a straight razor with a note. My grandpa told me that it had been his grandpa's razor, making it easily over 100 years old, probably 1900. Val Haronsky at The Gentleman's Den has let me know that he can restore it, and I'm very excited to get this piece of family history shave ready again. It blows my mind every time I think about finding it.

Well, I was given a gift set of Micro Touch One Classic Safety Razor with a badger brush and soap which it is a Genuine Love My Skin, moisturizing shaving soap 4.oz bay rum fragrance. I'm new to wet shaving so I'm not all familiar with all products but I will say traditional shaving will be the only way ill shave from now on. This bay rum soap I'm using feels great on my skin.
