The Deets-
It’s amazing how many people want deets. I leave them out and get replies and PMs. Goodness. So here we go. I had sent a NOS Clauss razor to Fluffy to put an edge on and he did. This went from a factory edge that wouldn’t shave, to a razor that is now sporting a “Shogun Edge” TM. Of course this razor got the nod today. Ken also sent me a soap that was not working for him, and another special surprise. I volunteered to be a product tester for Fluffy Industries, but now I am a product owner of one of his Steampunk collection handles.

This is the package that I received.


And I like the hand detailed packaging that the products come in.


About the shave. I remember when I first started DE shaving and the weepers I would sometimes get. Each new razor or blade I bought came with caution … will this one bite me today? That is behind me and I look forward to new straights (or edges) and how they shave. No more wading in cautiously, I jump in with both feet. This edge is great! Both sharp and smooth. This is where I need to be with my SB Ark. Great job Ken! I whipped up a nice lather with the Moon soap. Three smooth passes and I am BBS for the win! That was very nice! Wrapped everything up with a splash of the aftershave and everything was right as rain! That splash is a new one for me as well. More on that in a minute. Life is good!

Home Front-
Yesterday was a blessed day for me. The missus is now home to stay. I had to fight the dogs back to get my attention first. But we are all glad she is home.

I also received two packages yesterday. One from Ken (shown above). And a Halloween PIF from Tony. Just look at what he sent my way. I will be trick-or-treating at his house again next year for sure. I have never tried Pinaud, so it was on deck today. And I can’t wait to take that Gold Dollar for a spin and the other goodies.. Great PIF Tony, thank you!
