Glad you are getting a consult. Can you tempt her with favorite foods, sweets, and the like? Will keep you both in my thoughts and prayers. Scary stuff.

I had tried the sweets, but she wasn’t having any of that. I made her some chicken and rice soup a few minutes ago (her request) and she ate about half. Now if she will keep it down. Thank you for the thoughts and prayers.

The Deets-
Today I was trying out one of several samples that Mike scent to me. And man they all smell good. Today was WK King of Oud. Just based on the name, I was expecting something different, but I did read the scent notes online. Still, I don’t know scents so sometimes the descriptions don’t help. It’s a strong scent too. I bowl lathered from my copper bowl and it whipped up a nice lather.

So I also grabbed the Solingen razor from the other day. I had put it on the SB Ark and that really helped the edge. They both cut well, but I may take this one and the Dovo back to the Ark again just to see how far I can push them. Very nice shave with three easy passes and I am BBS for the win! No aftershave today, I just wanted to check out the soap.

Home Front-
The missus had a virtual visit with our doctors office today. They had her come in for another covid test (in the parking lot) and were to call us with the results later today. It didn’t happen and I’m not surprised. They said if it’s covid that she needs to ride it out and treat symptoms as best we can. If it’s something else, we can pursue that further. I am not amused.

On another note, I am trying my hand at a crock pot pot roast. It should be done in about an hour and I’m curious about how it tastes … smells good. No visible damage from the four legged terrorist, but I’m sure she was into something. Life is good!

Rats! Either does Dave with baked goods. Maybe Fluffy will ship sourdough bread?! Or I could clean up my Zojirushi bread machine and make whatever I desire. and learn how to use the Insta-Pot we got last Christmas. I may need more outlets in the kitchen!
