Stay hydrated, and have some acetaminophen ready, and you'll "right as rain," as some character around these parts says!

Had the same setup yesterday and today. Yesterday was an afternoon shave because I felt pretty bad that morning. Today was a late morning shave because I had the day off. Yup life is good!

Thanks Dave! Had the second Rona shot on Wednesday afternoon. Thursday morning I felt like crap. Headache, body aches, chills and sweats. Emailed the boss I was taking a day off and went back to bed. The missus woke me up mid afternoon and I felt better, but was wore out. Still got my shave on though. Today is a new day, like nothing happened and I already had scheduled today off.

The Deets-
So ... I has lazy and didn’t post yesterday, but I ran this setup yesterday and today. It’s been a while since I used this aftershave and I do dig the scent. The Fat is always ready for a shave too. I didn’t keep track of my loading time, just worked it until it looked good and loaded. The Stirling Boar is back on deck after a short stint out of the rotation also. I like the heft, feel and unusual shape of this brush and the bristles work well for me. I have been revisiting a few things to see if my thoughts on them have changed. And I have found that my original impressions were spot on.

So the DE change up this weekend was nice, but I find I still prefer an SR shave. I went with my standard three passes of WTG, XTG and ATG with no drama to report. Both shaves delivered easy peasy and I was/am BBS for the win! Whoop ... there it is. That is an awesome way to start the day. With both shaves I also had enough left for a post shave lather for The Fat to work some post shave magic.

Wrapped everything up with a quick rinse and pat dry. Followed that up with a splash of the aftershave and everything was right as rain! It’s the simple things in life that I truly enjoy. Life is good!

Home Front-
So just an update on the going’s on around here. Last Wednesday I got my second Rona shot and it knocked me down pretty good on Thursday. I shook most of it off by Friday, but was worn out. We have had rain every few days and the yard was finally dry enough to mow yesterday. My gosh, it was due. I had knee high grass and weeds, but the yard had stayed too wet to mow. Got that and a few errands done yesterday. Today is an easy day and I will probably spend a bit of time honing razors. I have gotten behind on that task. I think that’s all I have for you today.

I've gotten behind on honing as well lol. Spent more time on repurposing cigar boxes...and getting ready for a den purge sale...part 1.

A den purge?! Man, I am going to have to keep an eye out for that one.
