I tend to enjoy the more complex scents with shaving soaps. B&M has been knocking it out of the park for me, followed by Tim's Soap. I've only tried one MLS and one Reef Point and they were both excellent as well and complex to my nose. CRSW is another one worth mentioning. I'd like to hear which soaps other members consider to have complex scents.

The vintage British shaving soaps, such as those from Floris and Penhaligon's, have relatively complex scents.

Maybe try Ginger's Garden or Van Yulay.

I smelled Penhaligon's Blenheim Bouquet aftershave and it is a very nice scent.

Try the Meisner Tremonia, they have some complex scents. Strong n'Scottish is interesting. LA Shaving Soap has some good ones too, Bespoke #1. Check out the thread of Off the Wall scents - lots of interesting soaps mentioned in there.

Just to add to my post above, Blenheim Bouquet deserves a little more than "it is a very nice scent" to quote myself. That fragrance is absolutely outstanding! I will be buying the aftershave eventually. I think I wasn't considering the nice commercial brands that have well established scents. Creed GIT is another one I like very much and I have the balm.

MB is on my to buy list. Connaught sells all of them, to include samples, and for very reasonable prices and shipping as cheap or cheaper than many US stores.

I know you mentioned B&M. I was given the Lavanille for Christmas and it is definitely a complex scent. Dont know if it's gonna work for me though. I need to try to lather it up and see what I get.

I just ordered Lavanille yesterday actually. I have found with other B&M scents that they sometimes smell different when lathered. The good news is if you don't like it, or me either for that matter, they are easy to sell on the BST. Hope you enjoy it lathered. Fortunately I have liked every B&M scent I've purchased so far.
