I believe it has to do with the special paint he is using for the red dot. Needs all razors completed to paint at one time.

No problem here Eric Janus Razors as I got enough in my den if these "stay at home" requests last years so a month is not an issue. Besides the razor will be hand assembled by the creator, how amazing is that for quality control - there will be no defects for sure. And make it one trip to the shipper when they are all done is a better use of your time so I can wait another month. Thanks for the update and your honesty

At three razors a day, Eric should be finished tomorrow... need to knock the spiderwebs out of the mailbox!

He said he finished assembling the razors, and now applying the red ink.

Can't wait to see some pics and read some reviews. This is a project I have been fascinated with from the outset.
I would have been in on the first razors if it weren't for the red paint fill accents, which I didn't like at all.

Looking forward to getting the Janus soon. And I just picked up a Toggle recently. I’m looking forward to comparing them.
