Just for fun I thought to compare the Gem Flying Wing (Bullet Tip) vs the Rockwell 6S on plate 4. It's hard to do a solid comparison because they don't take the same blade but hey, I used what I could. Loaded the Flying Wing with a gem PTFE on its second shave which in my experience is where a single edge blade starts to shine. I load the Rockwell with a brand new feather blade. Soap was a slick And cushioning Latha. Brush was a Semogue 610 boar. I did a three pass shave Gem on the left and Rockwell on the right. At the conclusion I applied an alum block and noticed no discernible difference there. After rinsing I felt my face and could not have determined a winner. Both sides offered a clean and close shave with no irritation. What did I learn? Not much I suppose.

more fair would be bullet tip vs plate # 2 or 3 at the most

Perhaps I have an interesting Rockwell? I find plate 2 to be so mild as to be useless. Plate 4 shaves about like a DE89 for me.

bullet tip is extremely mild also, at least that's how it feels to me

Agreed but pretty stinking efficient for my mug. Got a g-bar which seems a tad more aggressive and an MMOC which is just very aggressive.

I've always felt the MMOC was the most aggressive SE I own. I STILL haven't found a way to get along with it lol. I keep trying and eventually put it away again.

the MMOC is the R41 of all SE razors, I do like it specially after the first 3 shaves with the PTFE blade

During last SEptember, I figured out what works best for me with the MMOC. By keeping the top cap mostly flat against the skin and applying slight pressure, I was getting some really great shaves. With the bullet-tip, I generally have more of an angle. Both of these are capable of producing some of the absolute best shaves i can get.

I just can't seem to get a gem blade to work for me
I have tried them in every Gem razor made with no love.
In fact I plan on selling them when I get back home
I keep hoping to find one in a modern example
When I see one I like I find that they are all sold out.
