Where can I vote that I dislike this post?

This forum has been wonderfully friendly and free of arguments.

It bothers me to see it start now.

There are things that I and I am sure others don't like. That is the variety which is the spice of life.
Those dislikes can be mentioned in a constructive manner and discussed as friends to friends.
That happens frequently and helpfully in this forum.

Nothing about shaving of any kind, with any instruments or accessories or magic potions is worth this vitriol.

It is a pleasurable pursuit. I hope this letter and the follow ups can be removed and forgotten.

Do not spoil a very good thing, please.

Mickey Oberman, I'm not sure what you are referring to.  If you mean the back and forth that happened a few pages back, the two posters were notified and agreed that things were getting a bit out of hand, agreed to stop, and there have been no problems since.  Other than that, Brian's journal for the OneBlade has been outstanding, in my opinion, and quite different than a one-size-fits-all review.  His personal journey with this razor has been fascinating to follow.  If it is something else that we are not aware of then please PM me or one of the other moderators and we'll do our best to sort it out.

I'm happy that SharpSpine is taking the time to journal his shaves with the OneBlade razor on DFS!

Like Freddy, I am also a bit confused here Mickey Oberman. Lately there's been very little dialogue & I have just been reporting my experience. I'd love to see more interaction, especially from other OneBlade owners as they get to know their new razor.

I do agree with your sentiment Mickey & also hope that all continue to move forward nicely both here in this thread & all across DFS.

Freddy and everybody else,

Yes I was referring to that exchange and I understand it has been sorted out.
I do not get to this forum every day so when I read that series of thrusts and parries I was quite upset.
I have belonged to a few fora about shaving and camera collecting and photography where the going got too heated so I quit them.

I apologize if I was out of order and if I offended anyone. That was not my intention. I could never make the diplomatic corps.

No, but you made the 'Concerned Member Corps.', Mickey, and that's just as important!

I agree with all the comments. I think you were talking about me Mickey. Al I can say is that I don't really like to get in arguments, specially with people that I don't even know, but sometimes you have to put the foot down when facing buffoonery and tomfoolery from the part of some.

Like Andrew mentioned the issue was sorted out and it was a done deal. Unfortunately, we are not going to agree on everything, but as long as it is done in a fair and gentlemanly fashion, I welcome a good discussion.

Mickey, you are completely right, so enjoy the forum.

Insulting people is how you start problems and arguments. So please don't start again with the insults Hector.

I'd like this to be a gentlemanly affair, but I won't sit quiet when attacked. And this is why I haven't commented much more, or asked further questions on this excellent thread here... but I sure would like to...

I thought it might be that, Mickey.  Thanks for clarifying.  I agree with you that quite a few of us find this place special just because of the overall good manners of our members.  No place is perfect but we keep trying to maintain an even keel so it's good that you aired your concerns and, to quote Shakespeare, "All's well that ends well."
