Parker DE Blades are on sale on Amazon. Sharpologist has discount code for 20% off of these blades:

At first I was thinking re-branded Derby's, but Mark says they are made to Parker Safety Razor's specs and not re-branded. Deal only good to April 26, 2018(today). Sorry, just spotted it.

I paid $9.48 w/NYS sales tax and free shipping after 20% off discount. Not bad for 100 blades.(Like I need any more!)

One hopes Parker specs are more carefully considered than Rockwell's.

Now think about it. How hard is it to design a blade to only cut partially through a hair, allowing the blade to then uproot the facial hair the rest of the way. If you have a high tolerance for pain, you will get that BBS from a Rockwell.

It takes alot of skill to design that into a blade Smile

Just browsed the article. If these are made in Turkey, they could be made on the Astra/Permasharp machines. So they would just be rebranded versions of those. Turkey is still entrenched in DE wetshaving so they may be a hot ticket item over there.

I believe astras and permasharps are made in russia. Derbies, blue birds (or something like that) and others are turks.

Mine should be delivered maybe Saturday.  I figured they were worth a shot for 100 blades for less than $10 shipped.  If I don't like them, I'm sure I can find plenty guys that would like to try them.  Win-win! Smile
