I have quite a few acquisitions this month...

and then got 2 bars of this soap on vitacost a few weeks ago:

I am visiting a friend in Scotland and I spotted this Rolls Razor in a shop window in the center of Falkirk. It had a price of £10.00 (US$15.30) and that seemed very reasonable to me for the condition it's in. It hardly looks as if it has been used and it came in the original box with all of the paperwork. I have been wanting one for my razor collection but each time I found a Rolls it was usually more expensive than what I paid and the condition was usually pretty bad (cracked hone, worn strop, missing blade, etc.). Of those of you in the know, did I get a decent deal? I had given up finding a decent one so hadn't checked prices in a long time. Thanks for any help you can give.

I got this is the mail from ShadowsDad today for a forum project we're working on.  I'll announce more tonight...

When I met 1morepasswill in Glasgow he had a gift waiting for me. I am waiting to get back home before trying the soap but am really looking forward to it. I have never used Wickham's soaps and I really like floral scents. Thanks, Will.

I think you got the Rolls for a good price, they are fairly plentiful in the UK but like you said , often they will have an issue with one or more of the components. You did particularly well to get the original card packaging and instructions. I wonder how rare that particular version is with the amended direction between model upgrades. I'll be keeping an eye out for your SOTD pic with the soap.

I'm waiting until I get home to open, sniff, and use it, Will.
