hey DFS, I need some opinions on a possible issue that has me spooked!
Yesterday two injectors landed in the mailbox. The Canadian got its own thread, and I think this Type G deserves one as well.
It arrived with no blade loaded, which has happened before with internet purchases (ie, not from a BST). I decided to sacrifice a Ted Pella blade, but instead what I experienced in the past, this one went in like a hot knife in butter. Should I be worried? I am used to a tough push, hence the sacrifice of a blade and subsequent reload with a new blade. It seemed too easy, like maybe the head isn't holding the blade as tight as it should? Reload was also easy, not what my experiences so far have been. Can the blade clamping be tightened? I plan to do a very careful pass tomorrow, but anyone with a similar experience who would like to share with me would be greatly appreciated!
