Where are Saville Row brushes available in the US, beside QED?  Do they vary in any substantive manner, or are they all basically floppy brushes?

They are Shavemac brushes rebranded and only available at QED.

All evidence has been buried. All tapes have been erased.

I'm taking Rudy Vey's word on it from another forum. He has close ties working with Bernd, has visited his shop in Germany and posted publicly they were made by Shavemac/Bernd.

I believe the quote came to light (although most suspected they were one and the same) when SR was named by B&B/Joel as a brush award winner under $150.

Thanks for the info. I always suspected that but never saw any hard proof.

I have never seen or used an SR brush but this one looks very similar to my Shavemac 177 23mm finest. Any relation between the two manufacturers?

Shavemac makes them.

I heard shavmac also makes silvertips for AOS. I have a silvertip AOS and the knot looks identical to shavemacs knots

Well I guess I can say nothing but good things about savile row then. I don't own a savile row but I have a shavemac and it is one of my favorite brushes.
