Can you tell me a bit about what you like about it?

It was great getting to meet you at the St. Louis Shave Meet-up last month that hawns put together.  I am enjoying the Sandalwood & Myrrh Shaving Soap that my friend, Mike, treated me to when we were at the meet-up.  I love the scent.

Can you tell me a bit about what you like about it?

I abandoned anti-perspirants a few years ago after 40+ years. I turned to natural deodorants, but couldn't find any that didn't irritate me. In fact, I got a lecture from my doctor at last year's physical. I was using Milk + Honey, which I really liked--so much so that I was willing to endure the constant redness (which was not painful). But, when the doctor lectures you and prescribes a bunch of medicine (which I've not used), it's time to keep hunting.

That's when I found SS. I've been using it constantly during our very hot Seattle summer (by our standards), with no issue.

P.S. I also love the shaving soaps, but, for me, there's more competition there. Nevertheless, SS shaving soaps are certainly among the best lathering machines I own.

P.P.S. Chatillon Lux is my favorite family of aftershaves. Do you plan to do another collaboration? I'm bummed I missed out on the soap that sold out yesterday...

P.P.P.S. I have also enjoyed the many bath soaps I've bought from SS, especially the pine tar... Now I'm finished.

I'm still dialing in the soap, I plan to use my tub more often. The post shave is really remarkable.

I moved the thread to Deals & Clearance, which might be better suited for this particular topic. And the offer at hand pushed me to finally make an order, so that I can find out for myself why your soaps are so highly praised. I also decided to give the deodorant a try — and that was before reading CCity’s praise for the product.
