I agree on the Rapira Platinum Lux - great blade.

My favorites are Gillette Silver Blue, Gillette 7'oclock yellow, and PolSilver SI.

This is a great thread! Many blades to try!

Russian blades reflect russian production values. They can crank out an awfull lot of them of decent quality for every feather produced and get the job done. They're cheap enough to try and easilly passed forward or traded once you find the good ones.

The top blade for me is the Rapira Swedish Supersteel. I get 5-7 shaves and they are reasonably sharp and smooth as it applies to my whiskers.

Russian blades are generally great. If I had to pick the one I like the very best it would have to be the Polsilvers. I get at least 5 shaves out of a blade and I really can get true BBS shaves out of them. I think they provide a very. smooth feel in very aggressive razors.
