Recently received both the Barber's andle and the Bruce handle Plissoft brushes from Italian Barber. If you enjoy synthetics and haven't tried one, just buy one. They both are outstanding brushes. The Barber's handle knot is set a bit lower and has more density to it. You can't go wrong for the money.[Image: FkKr5f6.jpg][Image: 1l8k8sN.jpg]

I have quite a few of them. They are my second favorite knots behind the Ubersoft knots. Can't beat the price point on these either.

I too love my Original (I guess you could call it) 24mm and Monster 26mm. They both are amazing brushes for the money.

I received the Bruce today and the blue bump is half way up the knot. Is this what others have experienced with it too? This thing is unusable for my preference. It's a nice handle and the knot is densely packed, but splay is restricted due to the glue bump.

Don't have much experience with brushes with high glue bumps, are you supposed to see them? I don't see a glue bump on mine. It does have a more backbone and a bit of scrub compared to the RR barber, and significantly more than the Maggards synth.

I don't notice anything like that mine. Splays perfectly and if chose to do so (which I don't normally) I can spray it nearly flat on my face without feeling any bump. Sounds like it might be defective.
Unless you are the lead dog, the view never changes...

You can feel the glue bump inside the knot. Mine goes around 50% up. It is the highest I've ever owned. I can't splay to flat on my face, only about 50%. It sounds like the Maggard may be better, so I will order it like I originally planned.
