Matsilainen was just talking about using a small o-ring in a case something like this, I believe. The o-ring or washer could take up the space in the recessed part of the razor if there is enough thread length to do so. Just a thought

Yep it works with small rubber o rings that you can buy at any hardware store.

My fault, I should have been more clear. I am looking for the Titanium version. I have the Aluminum version. Cheers.

I suspect they were a one-off, though there's no way to really know. I don't think RR spoke out about the availability of it yet. It's a great razor, and would love it to see being a production razor like the Wunderbar so more people could try it and fall in love with it.

I was right on it when they were released. Hell, I started this thread! I actually prefer the aluminum to the titanium. Smoother connection between head and handle and virtually the same shave while being more agile.

Oh, that's good to hear. Now to turn my attention to the mamba :-)

I know titanium is nice but 316L SS is more than enough of a quality metal to make the razor last at least 100 years if no hard accidents occur. What I would be happy to see is BBS and MJ-90 in 316L SS, people say that both razors are on the mild side? well SS will give them weight to it and naturally make them somewhat bit more aggressive cause of the weight increase. If nothing else it will give the illusion of being more aggressive.

The main selling point for me is the weight and corrosion resistance. I find SS too heavy and aluminum too light. And it's nice to be able to leave your wet razor on counter with no worries.
