I'm interested in getting a little rose otto or absolute, for mixing into unscented shaving cream and soap lathers and with some aftershaves, but I have never used any and have no idea which companies produce the best. If anyone here has experience using any of them, I would appreciate hearing about which you think are the best.
Thanks.

Very reputable company. I have both of these, they're phenomenal! IMHO, it'd be a complete waste to put either of them in a soap or a cream.

There is an upcoming Grooming Dept soap called La Rosa Profunda. It contains Morraocan absolute.

Thanks for the notes. It's been suggested to me that instead of otto or absolute, which might be too intense for adding to a lather, I might try a rose water or hydrosol, so I'm considering that. I'm looking for a rose that smells like the fresh flower on a sunny summer morning, but with just a hint of greenness and darkness. Frank at Ethos grooming has generously offered to give me his thoughts and perhaps come up with a concoction to try. I'm planning to try adding to lathers that are unscented, sandalwood, almond, or colonia.

Following Frank's advice, I ordered from Eden Botanicals the following:
Rose Hydrosol 8oz
Rose Absolute, Bulgaria 1ml
Rose Absolute, Morocco 1ml
Rose Absolute Trilogy (Bulgaria, Morocco, Turkey) 1ml
Rose Essence Oil (Bulgarian and Moroccan Roses, with Jasmine, Ylang Ylang, Rose Geranium, Fossilized Amber, Patchouli and several Sandalwoods) 1ml free sample
Rose Geranium Oil 1ml free sample

I am going to divide the hydrosol into 50ml bottles, then try adding 1 drop of each of the absolutes to different bottles and use the mixes in some lathers. I'm not sure yet what I'll do with the free samples.
